How to Get to Viirelaid?
Viirelaid is a secluded private island in Estonia – complete tranquility awaits you just a short boat ride away. Getting here is easy and part of the experience.
By Car from Tallinn to Virtsu
- The drive from Tallinn to Virtsu takes around 2 hours and 15 minutes (approx. 140 km)
- Most convenient route: Tallinn → Risti → Virtsu
- Set your GPS to: Virtsu Harbour
Parking in Virtsu:
- Free parking: when driving toward the harbor, you’ll find free parking on the left side of the road
- Paid parking: directly next to the harbor building on the right, you can use the SNABB mobile app:
• €1 per hour
• €3 per 24 hours
By Bus from Tallinn to Virtsu
- Regular departures by Lux Express, GoBus, and others
- Choose routes heading to Kuressaare (stop: Virtsu)
- Buses leave from Tallinn Bus Station (Lastekodu 46)
- Travel time: approx. 2.5 hours

Boat Ride to Viirelaid
Once you arrive in Virtsu, your Viirelaid sea adventure begins.
We operate two Buster Supermagnum boats, each carrying up to 9 passengers.
- Distance from Virtsu or Kuivastu: 5.5 km
- Travel time: 10–15 minutes
- We organize a custom boat schedule based on your group
- Guests are transferred in smaller groups if needed
Safety First
- Every passenger will be provided with a 100N life vest – wearing it is mandatory
- Our experienced captains ensure a smooth and safe ride
Kitesurfing or SUP-board
Record time is 21 min from Virtsu to Viirelaid
You can also come to us with a SUP-board. To do this, we will come by boat, take your bags and secure you until you reach the island
