Welcome to Viirelaid

Viirelaid is a special place – an island that is at once wild and gentle, remote yet welcoming. People come here to get away from it all, yet feel right at home. To help you truly arrive and be present, we’ve created an environment where every detail supports peace, freedom, and being in the moment.

Our Complex

The Viirelaid lighthouse keeper’s complex is perfect for corporate events, summer retreats, concerts, weddings, or simply enjoying a relaxing getaway in nature. In summer, we can host up to 101 guests. The historic lighthouse keeper’s house includes seven bedrooms, a spacious living room, a veranda, a fully equipped kitchen, four shower rooms, and several toilets.

In addition, the island features a 120 m² seminar house, a wood-heated sauna with a pool, hot tub, and fireplace room, glamping and camping areas, suites, dome and cube houses – and even a chapel. And best of all – the sea is visible from every window.

The Team Behind Viirelaid

Nothing happens on Viirelaid by itself – everything is made possible by a small but deeply dedicated team.

Daily life on the island is managed by Tristan – the person who keeps everything running smoothly and constantly works to make each experience better than the last. Under his leadership, Viirelaid has become a place people want to return to.

Viirelaid’s founder is Priit – the man whose idea started it all. His vision, courage, and creativity are the foundation of everything you see on the island today. And while he is no longer involved in daily operations, his spirit is always present here.

Karen is our assistant and usually the first person guests interact with. She ensures that all bookings, questions, and logistics go smoothly. If everything feels well organized and clear – it’s largely thanks to her.

When you arrive on the island, you’ll be greeted by Artur – our on-site host. His warm and down-to-earth presence creates an instant feeling of home. He makes sure you feel welcome in every sense.

Sandro is the heart of our kitchen. His passion is food that tells a story – and on Viirelaid, that story is simple, honest, and delicious. Whether it’s breakfast on the terrace or a special dinner on the beach, Sandro turns it into an experience.

Saare igapäevase toimimise eest hoolitseb Tristan – inimene, kes hoiab kogu süsteemi koos ja liigub alati selle poole, et iga kogemus oleks eelmisest parem. Tema juhtimisel on Viirelaiust saanud paik, kuhu tahetakse tagasi tulla.

Karen

Karen on meie assistent ja inimene, kellega enamik külalistest esimesena suhtleb. Tema hoolitseb selle eest, et kõik broneeringud, küsimused ja logistika sujuksid tõrgeteta. Kui tunned, et kõik on hästi korraldatud ja selge – siis see on suuresti tänu Karenile.

Sandro

Sandro on meie köögi süda. Tema kirg on toit, mis jutustab lugu – ja Viirelaiul on see lugu lihtne, ehe ja maitsev. Olgu tegu hommikusöögiga terrassil või erilise õhtusöögiga rannal – Sandro muudab selle kogemuseks.

Priit Villemson

Viirelaiu looja ja asutaja on Priit – mees, kelle ideest see kõik kunagi alguse sai. Tema visioon, julgus ja leidlikkus on aluseks kõigele, mis saarel täna olemas on. Kuigi ta igapäevaselt enam saarel ei tegutse, on tema vaim siin alati kohal.
